Next we drove down to the Gold Coast. We spent the night in Surfer's Paradise which is more like Vegas than any of the cities in Australia. We also visited Byron Bay while we were in the area. It was really pretty.

Not even close! Although Australia and New Zealand did put quite a dent in our bank account, we are making up for it in India :)
